Helping a Nonprofit Funder Help Others

Capital Impact Partners is a Washington, D.C.-based Community Development Financial Institution devoted to bringing critical services to the underserved. Recently the organization came to WWM, seeking strategic communications assistance in garnering more institutional, governmental, and investor awareness of the critical role Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) provide in serving the nation's low-income seniors.

WWM became part of a multi-pronged strategy designed to educate key stakeholders about the potential future role of FQHCs and the funding opportunities provided by organizations like Capital Impact.

Strategic Communications

WWM's efforts included participation in strategic roundtables and development of white papers for distribution to key stakeholders post-event. WWM also provided content for traditional and social media, including creation of blog posts for publication on both Capital Impact's blog and in select third-party media, as well as development and design of infographics to provide "at a glance" awareness of key issues in the provision and funding of healthcare services to the elderly.
